  1. I believe they are young, male Red-rumped parrots, native to Australia.

You say you've had these birds for two weeks, but you don't know what they are. That tells me that you most likely caught these birds in the wild, because if you bought them from a pet shop, you would know what type they were. It's highly illegal to keep wild-caught birds, so I'd suggest you let them go immediately.

If, despite what I've said, you decide to keep them, the only way to stop them fighting is to keep them in separate cages. I've only given you that bit of advice for the welfare of the birds, but realistically, the only advice you need to take is to let them go where you caught them.

  2. those are parakeets, tho they have a strange(must be expensive) coloration. they eat pellets(or seed)you can buy it at walmart or petco. 1nce every couple days.

call your local vet and ask how much.to reduce fighting separate them in diff cages.

the cage size you had them in was ok.

they're prolly missing their owners if you found them, you shuold put an ad in the paper. the need baths every couple days(spary them with mister, put under shower faucet or put big bowl of water in cage. they also eat fruit and can talk if u train them right.

  3. I believe they are parakeets. Buy the parakeet seed at , walmart, kmart, pet store etc. You may have to separate them if they fight. How bad is the one hurt, if it is severe you may have to carry it to vet. Vets are usually pretty expensive.

The cage can be small if going to separate especially.

Feed and water at least once daily. Clean cage once daily also.

    Now for your questions...

    1. Possibly Parakeets or Parrotlets (see site)

    2. Seeds, fruits, nuts, bark, roots, berries. You can buy special seed feed at a pet store and then add some fresh veggies or fruits

    3. Pretty often- ours gets new paper everyday and rinsed out once every week or so.

    4. See this site...

    5. Put them in separate cages where they can see and socialize with each other, but will be separated.

    6. Small to medium cage. A good example of a small cage is Width 22" Depth 16" Height 32"

    7. Again, that first site is a miracle worker.

    : ) Happy Trails.

  5. It looks like a conure.  They are very sweet expensive birds.  You should get them a large cage that they will be able to flap there wings in.  Buy them conure food or medicated healing food for your hurt bird.  You should clean their cage 1-2 times a week depending on how messy they are. The cost depends on the vet.  Conures love fresh fruits and vegetables.  Make sure not to place their cage next to a kitchen or anywhere they could be poisoned by cleaning products.

  6. They are parakeets, they sell food for them, i never took the ones i have to a vet, clean them them when the cage gets dirty, you can have some1 cut there wing's
