***Urgent*** Due Tomorrow! Pierce Samuel?

Question

If my baby due tomorrow is a boy, Pierce is one of the names we are considering. I usually don't like names where the end of one runs into the beginning of the next, but I think I like the blending of the name Pierce Samuel. The reason I am considering this is Samuel is my grandfather's name, and he is the only grandparent my husband and I have still living. It would mean the world to him. Do you think it runs together in a bad or good way? Obviously, you can separate it deliberately, but I would think it would run together more often. Compare Pierce Samuel to Pierce Michael (my husband's name is Michael), say them both aloud. Which do you prefer? Please, no alternate suggestions, family names are important to me.

i prefer pierce michael but pierce samuel sounds like it would mean more to you. and the grandfather. so i would go with pierce samuel. and its still good anyways

I like Pierce Samuel. And even though it does run together, you're not going to be saying both names for the majority of the time. Go with it. I know your grandpa will be proud!!

I don't know if this qualifies as an alternate suggestion because it's two you used but how about Samuel Michael?

I hate the name Pierce, it's a last name not a first name.

Samuel Michael on the other hand, if a wonderful name.

How about naming him Piercen Samuel--A lady I have in my MOPS group has twins named Piercen and Baylor. Piercen is her son and Baylor is her daughter. She also has a Garrison and just gave birth this summer to McKinney.

Samuel Pierce would be what I would pick. Pierce Samuel still sounds very nice though and I think that either combination will be great.

The meaning of the mn to you is more important than if it runs together or not.  I suspect you may later regret it if you DON'T use Pierce Samuel.  Besides, as you said, it actually a rather pleasant "running together."
