Urgent : H1B to B1 visa will it be a problem?

I have H1b stamped valid till 2010 but i didnt go to USA still bcose of recession in US market and other problems internally... now my company is processing B1 visa..

When i go for interview will my H1B get cancelled ?

  2. B1 is a tourist visa....Companies dont sponsor you for Tourist Visas.  You get that on your own merit.

    You can only have 1 intent to visit the US, either to Work or not Work.
