Urgent: Horse Costume Class Ideas?

Question

Because I procrastinated, I have less than two weeks to think up an awesome costume. Here are some of the things I have done in the past.

Prom king and queen

Memoirs of a Geisha

A t.p'ed tree and a kid

Apollo and the chariot of fire

Dorothy and the Scarecrow

Racing Stripes

I really wanted to do something anime related, because I'm a nerd -_-; but I'm worried about no one knowing what I'm dressed up as. Ranma 1/2 and a panda sounds like a good idea, but I'd be scared no one would get it.......or maybe a combat waitress and an alien witch............never mind........

The class is judged on most original, so I'd rather not go with the cliche stuff.......

Oh, and my horse is a tobiano buckskin paint. White mane, black forelock, and black tail..........

Cost really isn't an issue, but speed in aquiring the costume is........

I would really appreciate any good ideas!

with a tobiano buckskin paint pocahontas would be great though not very original. How about rocky horror show, pixie or other mythological creature, a star wars character (that would be funny), little red riding hood, egyptian, shrek and donkey, moulin rouge, gladiator, knight, arabian knight, harry potter, austing powers, superman or other superhero, belly dancer, fred flintstone, pirate, jockey, hercules and pegasus, centaur (not quite sure how thgat could work unless you decapitated your horses which probably isn't a viable option), queens guard, unicorn and creature, ravers, punks, goths, police horse, retro, king/queen, beauty and the beast, power rangers...

Well.. i think anything that you put your heart into [even if nobody really knows] is what counts. You shouldnt not do something you want to do because youre afraid what people will think. thats not a good way to live your life. But don't count on the judge really understanding it. either way, for those in the stands who understand it, they will think it is the absolute coolest thing..

basically though, anything disney judges can understand.

such as alice and the rabbit that doesnt stop checking his watch. You could put on an old halloween costume and paint clocks on your horse along with get an XXXlarge men's dress shirt, cutting off the collar and add a bow-tie. and put the cuffs around their pasterns. idk? lol... just be creative! thats what counts in costume right??

Hey!

Well one time i did and Indian costume, but i had a roan horse so it looked good, but i guess you could dothat you just need a westren bridle and soem older looking riens. You dont have to have a saddle, but i used a wetren saddle. Then i put feathers in his forlock and tail, and i got red and blue finger paint and put markings all over him. Then i dressed my-self up as a indian. We got 1st place.

Also another one could be a night or war. You just need a old black  horse blanket or giant clother and cut out hole for you and what ever els. Then you dress up your horse with medival things (should be black, or red) Then you get creative your self. I didnt do that but my friend did and she also won 1st for it!
