Urgent! How to delete a mutitude of compressed zipped folders! HELP!

trying to delete a virus or two or 250,000 by the looks of these folders. my friend cannot get onto the internet so dont suggest downloading something now. we think it has something to do with shared files on limewire...what should we do? just delete all the folders? and no, we cant right click and hit select all, its not an option.

  1. minimize your explorer, and drag and drop the entire folder which contains these files into the garbage bin if you can't right click.


  2. I think you might be able to get on the internet by booting on safe mode with networking. Deleting the folders won't do anything since they are probably in the windows registry. You could reformat your computer or get it professionally done.

    Avast! antivirus

    Spybot S&D

    http://www.safer-networking.org/index2.h...

    And scan using the two programs.

      

  3. Hold off on deleting things until you've removed Limewire. Try downloading Microsoft's Malicious Software Removal tool at the link below. Hope this helps...

  4. Click the top left folder once, scroll down to the bottom of the folder, hold shift, and click the bottom right folder once. They should all be selected. Or you can just press control and A.
