  1. Well Not sure about Torrance.  I mean there are lots of restaurants.  But if you want a fun interesting place especially if you like motorcycles I would got to Walkers Cafe in San Pedor on Paseo Del Mar.  It is a tiny hole in the wall with pretty decent food.

  2. Hands down King's Hawaiian Bakery in Torrance!  It's the ONLY other King's Hawaiian Bakery outside of the original in Honolulu, Hawaii. In fact, I think they might have closed down the historic one in Hawaii.

Nevertheless, I make an annual trip to Torrance to eat at King's!!!  Mimi's Cafe is good- great food but not the old school experience of Kings!  And the food is AWESOME!

  3. Chloe,

    Try Mimi's Cafe

    25343 Crenshaw Blvd

    Torrance, CA 90505

It's an Orleans-themed spot that serves traditional American In Short Decorated like a French country bistro with jazzy New Orleans overtones, Mimi's Café was named after a lost love of Arthur Simms, who started the restaurant in 1978. I think this will give you and your friend time to share a talk.

    Enjoy!
