  1. The Indian Embassy in Bahrain would conduct the registered marriage. Go to www.indianembassy-bah.com and you will get all the details or call them

  2. Even if you are unable to travel to India to marry this person who lives in India you cannot do so unless you both apply/give notice together for court marriage either under the Special Marriage Act,1954 in India or under the Foreign Marriage Act,1969 in any foreign country including Bahrain. Where you marry the presence of both the parties in person (no proxy allowed) is required for giving notice for marriage as well getting married before the Marriage Officer of the District of the rank of Deputy Commissioner/SDM where both reside or any one of them resided for not less then 30 days in India or in the Foreign Country where the Marriage Officer under the Foreign Marriage Act is one of the Officer/Counselor in the Indian Embassy/High Commission. So the first thing in your case is if you cannot travel all the way to India how this fellow come there in Bahrain to get married with you where you are now residing? First arrange for his traveling & stay visa then check my Yahoo Answers (must be more then 100 in number) here in my profile with regard to the complete Procedures/documentation etc with regard to court/civil marriage under the Special Marriage Act,1954 or under the Foreign Marriage Act,1969. Edit:- As told you both parties to marriage have to be present in person at both times i.e giving of notice as well marriage & no proxy allowed. Secondly the objections for marriage can only for the condition of marriage (age, martial status, mental status of both parties) nothing else, caste, religion, nationality etc are no criteria for any objection. Marriage certificate issued on the same day of marriage & its registration.
