Question:

Urgent help needed with disease effecting my lemon& grapefruit trees.

The lemons and grapefruit on my respective citrus trees have formed what looks like a rough cork surface on the fruit. Neither my lemon nor my grapefruit showed any signs of this on last years harvest. I would be FOREVER in your debt if someone could help me identify this disease and assist in suggesting a method(s) to eradicate it. In advance, Thank You, Thank You, Thank You!!!!!!!!!

Sincerely,

Robert M. Vincent

  1. Robert,

It sounds like you have citrus scab which is caused by a fungus.  The following site has photos of various citrus diseases and has recommendations for their control.  Good luck!

Edit.  Here's another site that mentions the fungicide and its proper concentration.
