Urgent need of absence excuses. ?

I missed the first day of college cause I forgot about it...

My teachers are gonna be pissed. Pls loan me several good excuses.

It's not like in high school.... your teachers don't care if you show up to class or not.... they don't care if you do your homework and papers or not.... If you get an "F" in class... they basically say that you earned it yourself.... and that it was rightfully awarded.  College is the time when you learn how to be an adult and how to be responsible.

I had a teacher who used to tell people who tried to give an excuse: "I don't care where you were.  Your problem is where you weren't."  You'll find most college teachers have that attitude.  They're going to teach a class.  Whether you're there for it is up to you.

In the event you are asked for an excuse as to why you missed your first day of college though, you can't do better than "I forgot about it".  That's a classic.
