Urgent..need to find a place to stay in Germany?

one of My best friends is in Berlin - Germany for a practice matter

her sponser was responsible for her living till the end of June, but now she gotta find another place to stay till the 19 of August

where she can find a list of not very expensive places to stay?

any other help here?

There are several good youth-hostels that are cheap in Berlin (for example the Generator). She should also try to look for an apartment for a time on the Zitty magazine and similar places. My third suggestion for her is to try to find holiday rental - most of these people would give her a discount for staying for a month and a half.
