Urgent question about cervical mucus?

i have had stretchy cervical mucus for 7 whole days now, is it true that if i conceived that first day i had the mucus, the mucus wouldn't go away?

I had stretchy mucus for 2 days.. then dry as a bone for ages. But every one is different so you might be??

i didnt notice any stretchy mucus the month i concieved so thought i hadnt ovulated. i had thick white mucus that didnt go away till about 7 weeks
