Url redirecting?

Question

i have my website so that when i type in www.dl-share.co.uk it comes up fine, but when i type the address in without the www. the page cannot be found, how can i make the page without the www. prefix take the user to the website.

info - i have apache with windows 2003 server and PHP, mysql and phpmyadmin

I guess you can do something the dns to make it reorganize on your internal network.

You have to find the major dns your are registered with and tell them the problem. Some DNS try to find the best match, especially if there is a www missing.

google.co.uk

and

google.com

will come up

Also, you should be using SUSE not Windows.

Create a folder in the Apache directory where the files are being hosted and name it 'www'.

Put your web site files in there.

don't use the www. in the first place,lol, this is mine:

I set it up without the www.
