Uromastyx not Eating need help!!

Question

well i just got a 1 year old mali uromastyx a couple of days ago. im worried about him/her all he does is sleep in his hide and never comes out to eat. he is a little fatty. his temps are 122 under the basking light and 80-84 cool side. he also has 2 shade spots and 1 hide spot.

What is the best thing to convince him to come out of his cave? He is very tame but im holding off from holding him for atleast a week. Please i need help any advice would help.

You have only had him a few days. He hasn't even had time to settle yet. Give him a few more days. I feed my Uros spring mix greens, with some fruit and veggies mixed in, and a sprinkle of calci powder on top.make sure you keep him hydrated. soak him in a little water a few times a week. You should try Healthy Herps fruit mix & veggie mix, it has everything in it that they could ever need. Good Luck!
