Us History Regents! June 2008?

Question

multiple choice was hard

i took long on this part....

didnt have the chance to finish 4 of the dbq's but completed both essays

do u think this will affect me grade? =[ idk if i passed or not im worried

So far, I already got 2 MC wrong =/ Probably got a few others wrong too =X Thematic was EEEASY and the DBQ was kinda tricky o.o Or it might've been because I left that for last and my brain kinda died out by then.

i didnt think it was that difficult, but i went over the test after with one of the teachers and i got 1 multiple choice wrong =/

the essays took me a long time to write, but maybe thats because i wrote about 5 pages for the dbq =P

leaving out a document would hurt your essay score, but if it was a scaffolding question youre talking about those are onnly 1 point each, they barely matter

Well, Global was realllyyy easy last year and this year US History was okay.  The thematic and the topic of the DBQ were pretty easy.. but the scaffolding questions were just long and boring.. If you left that many blank but did good on everything else it will bring down your grade but probably not that much.. The multiple choice was hard but not impossible

i thought it was i lot easier than i expected...the thematic essay wass a joke...where did yu find the rubric?

I feel the same about it too.

The Multiple choice was very tricky. I think that the Thematic Essay was very good though. I also agree with you that I didn't have enough time to write my DBQ because of the difficulty with the multiple choice, although I finished it in 30 to 35 minutes I crammed my conclusion by the time they said pens down.

If you didn't state 4 DBQs in the essay you may loose points.   As long as you did okay with the multiple chioce you might be safe. I hope you pass.

i though the regents this year wasn't bad at all compared to global last year.

i had problems with some of the multiple choice but the essays weren't that difficult at all. :]

the MC is hard but it isn't long...the DBQ is long...but it's easy....

but i'm really worried

does anyone know the answer for the "eisenhower doctrine" MC?

The rubric score is awesome! It's almost impossible to fail.You can get four multiple choice wrong and a dbq answer wrong and get a 99! Or 9 muliple choice wrong ,a 4 on one essay 5 on the other and get 97?!

eisenhower doctrine was the one with the middle east

does anyone remember the cartoon with the judge teaching? I put down checks and balances quickly and someone on another thread said it was judicial review. I don't remember that as a choice but I they are too similar so maybe they got them confused? I would hate to get such an easy question wrong.

EDIT: wow even I got it confused. separation of powers is what i meant by checks and balances i guess
