Us citizen going abroad for college from bangladesh...wut do i need to do?

like, wut scholarship do i need to apply for UT Austin if i am a citizen of US but i live in bangladesh?

You can look for scholarship opportunities in your university before you leave. Check the website and contact them.

Search for housing around the university, to share with roommates. It will be cheaper than dorms. Check out craigslist.org.

See if you can buy some books from Bangladesh, they are cheaper there. I know some students had books sent from India or Bangladesh.

Buy as many clothes as you can from Bangabazaar, Dhaka College Market, Westecs etc. Don't buy too many shoes, just the essentials, and preferably from large stores or malls, as the cheaper ones are not suitable for a cold/dry climate. Buy winter coats and jackets.
