How much money do you think big pharma (the highest profit industry) gives to politicians?

It is their drugs (that only deal with symptoms) that is killing people off before their time.

If you want good health = Take charge of your own health with good diet, exercise and Sunlight - Avoid Drugs!

Otherwise take Drugs - help depopulation - and become just another IATROGENIC victim.

Since Nixon got Kaiser Permanente and the H.M.O.s going, the U.S. health care system has been going down hill.  Health insurance companies run on a for profit basis.  That means as long as they can collect your premiums and deny any and all medical care you might need they make money and do well.  Any time they actually have to pay for your medical care, prescription drugs, operation...etc. they lose money and they don't like that at all.  So as long as this system is in place, your best bet is to be enrolled in some sort of insurance system, because it's still marginally better than none, and pray you don't get injured or really sick.
