if narendra modi goes on an official visit as a chief minister h shud be given visa. he need not be given for any social or other non official purposes in view of mass murder of minorities under his leadership. he is fascist type and anti human. usa is justified in treating him persona non grata.

I think it is totally unfair of the US government to refuse a visa to Mr. Narendra Modi. Mr. Modi is a democratically elected leader (chief minister) of an Indian state and the election was conducted in a free and fair manner. If the US government has reservations against any action of  Mr. Modi's government, it should remember, that the same has been endorsed by the majority of the Gujarat voters in the last Legislative Assembly elections. Interestingly, dictators like the Pakistani president General Pervez Musharraf were welcomed by the same US government. And as rightly pointed out by Sudan, the US government's record in matters of human rights are none too clean to boast about. Invasion of Iraq, killing thousands of innocent Iraqis and siphoning off Iraqi petroleum makes the US government little better than a pirate. Mr. Modi in his turn should ensure that no US government official is allowed to enter Gujarat on their visit to India. That would be a befitting reply to the insult heaped on Mr. Modi and the people of Gujarat by an arrogant US government.

when asking for a visa, fair or not? is not the issue here,

if the US sees that you may overstay on a visa, it will not give you a visa based on your documentation given in your application only;

therefore the US did not juge your documentation justifying your acquiring a visa and receiving it.......
