we want to go on a family holiday for 14nts to orlando just a package holiday with virgin we will be taking 5 kids.what i want to know what really are the chances of being stopped entry with a vwp as we will have all documents/passports stating it just 14nts and just have enough spending money for the holiday.if we are stopped can you plead your case that just a holiday.due to research ive been doing many have said just do the vwp even with convictions as they have no way of knowing your uk convictions unless you on terriost watch or done a crime in us or overstayed when you have been before. really i want to know what are the odds as ive heard many people with convictions just do the vwp and are fine.

  1. Not all convictions make a person inadmissible. It depends on the crime. For example, a conviction for desertion from the military service would not be a conviction that would stop a person from entering the U.S. under the VWP. A conviction for rape would.

If you falsify the answers on the back of your form I-94W by failing to reveal arrests and convictions, you may succeed in entering. You may fail too.

If you make false and misleading statements to gain entry, you will be forever inadmissible pursuant to section 212(a)(6)(C)(i) of the INA. That's a lifetime bar.

You would be wise to first find out if your convictions are the type that would make you inadmissible. If they are, you would be wise to apply for a waiver of the grounds of inadmissibility and get a visitor visa.

We'll leave it up to you. I've seen many fathers crying at the port of entry when they couldn't see Mickey Mouse with the rest of their families because they weren't wise enough to do the right thing and get a waiver and a visa before flying all the way to the U.S. just to fly back alone.

You want to know the odds? I don't know. Are you feeling lucky today?
