why did I get one today in the mail

If it had your name on it someone subscribed you to it. If it had someone else's name on it it was delivered to the wrong house.

It was either meant for someone else or someone subscribed to it for you.

Careful, you may end up paying for it. Is it addressed to you? Yes, then I would return it to the mailbox with, "Did Not Order" on the label. Postman will take it back and you won't have to pay for it. If you get a bill, write, "Did Not Order" and "Cancel" and return it to the mailbox again. If you choose to keep the magazine, you will pay for the issues you keep even if you cancel later. Good Luck.
