Usa football team????

will there ever be a usa football team? i think this would be awesome if there was!!!! it doesn't have to be NFL players it could be regular people

I don't think it will happen because football is really only popular in America. Maybe against Canada they could play? But the Canadian football league has different rules but the USA would kill them anyway. But it would be cool if some day they did have it.

Americans love football. it's America's Game.  however, most of the world is not interested in football.  therefore, it will probably not happen.  besides, the U.S would kill everyone else in football.

It'll never hapen.  There's not many other football teams outside the US.  There's football in Canada and football in Europe just didn't last, they'd much rather play soccer.  Outside of US and Canada it's all soccer and rugby.  So I don't see this ever happening because we would have no one to compete against.  EVen if they started playing football outside US and Canada, do you know how long it would take forthem to start competeing on the same level as the US, h**l Canada couldn't even compete with us.

Football is pretty much exclusive to the USA so who would they compete with? NFL Europe and Canadian Football are filled with Americans.

Also, with huge contracts on the line and an almost year round season (if you include camp, ota's, and offseason workouts) not too many good players would volunteer to play. We already saw this with baseball during the World Baseball Classic and players not joining the Olympic rosters.

I know you said it could be regular people, but I have no interest in watching less than premier athletes compete in my free time.
