  1. As a commercial pilot i will say, if your vision cannot be corrected to 20/20 then you probably wouldnt be admitted into any flight training in the military.  That isn't to say you can't learn to fly and still become a pilot but your chances as a military pilot are questionable.  Also the educational requirements are pretty strict and it requires officer training to be accepted into flight training.  You might call any air force recruter and ask him to give you all the information you seek.  Good luck

  2. Vision requrements don't change with the speed of an aircraft.

  3. And they don't let you fly want you want.  You can "ask" on what used to called your Form 90 -- known as a Dream Sheet.  But your assignment will be based on your standing in your class and, most importantly, the needs of the service.

  4. they have lots of different planes dude. if you get thru, they will tell you wat plane 2 fly

    USAF

  5. For any pilot position in the air force, uncorrected distant vision cannot be worse than 20/70 correctable to 20/20.  Near vision must be 20/20 uncorrected.  It does not matter what kind of plane it is.

All pilot positions are officer positions, meaning a college degree is required.

See http://www.airforce.com/careers/job.php?... for types of pilot careers available.

  6. If your vision isn't correctable to USAF requirements

you may still be able to serve as  a crewman on

one of their larger aircraft like a C-130, KC-10, KC-135,

    E-3 Awacs, C-5 or C-17.

But without the right eyeballs you won't be able to

be a pilot for the military.
