Usage of Ser for Spanish (family based topic)~?

I am working on a spanish project where we are to construct an interview about our family (family tree). We have used words such as grandma/grandpa, cousins, brothers and sisters, aunts, uncles, pets, and so on.. We are also are able to use vocab from our latest chapter on party items in Spain (flowers, pinata, candy, balloon, presents, cake). Although I need help using the word "ser" at least twice. Can anyone please give some examples? Please only make comments based on your knowledge. If you have ?'s I will updatre this as needed... Thank you so much!

I can't think of any situation in your project wherein you would use anything BUT ser to mean is.  Use ser (sounds like first year, so: yo soy, tú eres, él/ella/Ud. es, nosotros somos, vosotros sois, ellos/ellas/Uds. son)  for all sentences.  then send them to me,, and I´ll let you know if you´ve done them right.
