Things get worn out, as those things get replaced it keeps the economy moving.   Things made of materials that can't be recycled, usually get burned for energy/electricity.

Nearly everything is somehow recycled these days.   Everybodys trash goes to transfer stations instead of 'dumps', and it's all sorted for recycling.

It's tough to understand exactly what you're asking.

Also fossil fuels (most houses) are burned to heat and power our homes, which may/may not cause global warming.
