Usain Bolt all set to mark another best at the Samsung Diamond League in Paris – Athletics news
As Paris observes the Samsung Diamond League meeting tomorrow, formidable Jamaican sprinter, Usain Bolt, looks forward to mark a new fast time at the Stade de France. Despite of having a formidable field to encounter, spectators are of the view that the
contest will only demonstrate a battle where the three-time world champion will only have to toil against himself.
The formidable athlete from Jamaica, who is perhaps the only person in his discipline to have bagged three World and Olympic titles, is also the world and Olympic record holder for the 100m and 200m runs. The entire world knows Bolt as a strenuous sprinter,
but there are only a few people who are aware of the fact that he is also a matchless athlete for the 4x100m relay.
While appearing at Paris for the Areva Meeting, the world track dominator said that he had allowed himself to relax a bit in last season’s competition, which, instead of helping him out, had culminated in making him suffer from back pain, which lingered
for long and at a time, even threatened a career end for the Jamaican star.
However, now, when he has managed to make a solid comeback to the track, he will certainly be looking forward to enjoy a hassle free run and go in line with the techniques that Glen Mills, his coach, has devised for him to overcome the glitches that he had
been facing on the track.
These techniques, as the sprinter revealed himself, are comprised of making a good and quick start, to keep himself balanced while sustaining the speed in the mid of the battle and to keep control of the meet while being close to the finishing line, as this
is the time when most of the runners unleash a surprising power to outdo their rivals. While talking about how he has planned to take complete control over proceedings during the encounter with a strong field, Usain said, “I’ve trained and trained, and this
race is all about execution.”
Bolt, who had been regarded as unbeatable on the track, amid his injuries and due to the emergence of some other formidable challengers of the discipline, has found it increasingly difficult to sustain his dominance on the track. Particularly in presence
of runners like Tyson g*y, he will have to go for an extra mile in displaying his performance on the track.
Interestingly, this might have made things difficult for the Jamaican track and field star, but it will definitely extend a real athletics feast to fans and spectators of both runners.
