Knowing that Usain Bolt just broke two world records at the Olympic games, is this sufficient evidence to suggest that he is the fastest man in existence? Discuss.

  1. The only way that Bolt could not be the world's fastest man is if someone has run a faster speed than him that has never been recorded. It is extremely unlikely that there is anyone faster than him because, if there was, he probably would have been noticed and placed on his country's team. Also, to become as fast as Bolt requires years of intense training (he has been running competitively since 2001). I cannot imagine why anyone else would put in so much time and effort into being the world's fastest man and would not want to be recognized for it. I am convinced that he is the fastest man is existence for now.

  2. He is the fastest man right now.  You cant really say that he is the fastest man in existence, because there are 7 billion people in this world.  There could be someone, somewhere, that is fast but isnt privileged enough to participate in the Olympics or doesnt even know about the sport.

I'd say that is he keeps training, he will be the fastest man ever to run track, just due to his athleticism.  He doesnt even run through the finish line, but seems like he is jogging and celebrating near the end of the race.

  3. That is one fast man!!

  4. ya
