  1. i don't think i will work but who says it wont happen

  2. Yes, he is amazingly fast, but that doesn't qualify him to play in the NFL. First, as many people have said, he may not be able to take a hit. Second, nobody knows whether he has good hands or not, but I guess he could always work on that. Also, being a sprinter, he naturally takes long strides, which doesn't enable him to have the the maneuverability that the NFL requires.

  3. Ok... to the people that are saying he'd be a bust based on previous sprinters... Know your history before you answer.

The Dallas Cowboys have Ring of Honor for their best players, one of the people on that ring is Bob Hayes (1965-1974). "Bullet" Bob Hayes is the only person in history to win an Olympic gold medal AND a Superbowl. That means he's good. Not only at running in a straight line but also running routes and catching the ball.

So until Bolt decides to make an attempt to play football people can only speculate on how he'll do. I for one think he'd be great. Great size and speed and he's already got the arrogance to go along with the star receivers in today's league. Plus, if he wanted to, he still has eligibility left for a couple years picking up the game in college somewhere.

  4. He's to tall and skinny. He could break in half when guys like Ray Lewis and Brian Dawkins lay him out.

  5. It would be nice to see him as a kick returner, but I highly doubt he will go to the NFL. GO RAMS!

  6. Ok, he's fast, thats awesome, but it takes more than just speed to be a competitor in the NFL now a days. You need and overall strong build, agility and awareness. None of the three (agility could be argued) have been proven by Usain Bolt. This is good hype for the NFL but it isn't very realistic

  7. Every one of those sprinters who went to the NFL were failures.  So what if he has straight line speed.  Can he make cuts, break tackles, or even catch the ball?  None of the other guys could.

  8. He'd probably get his legs broken.  Sprinters like that aren't able to take hits.  Can you image running into a brick wall at that speed?  Or rather, a brick wall running into you?  His bones would shatter.

  9. Well... he would be fast, but he would get KILLED when he got tackled. GO BRONCOS!!!!!!!!!!!!

  10. I was thinking the same thing but i aggre with the first anwser i don't think he would make it.

  11. Sorry won't work.

    He'd get killed.

(avoiding tackles, knowing how to play football and run and ready for contact, and having your body honed for the brutality of football doesn't just happen just like that)
