i personally think usain bolt even though he will end up with 5 gold medals less...

Comparing the performance between a swimmer and a sprinter is just about as dumb as comparing the performance between a dishwasher and a microwave oven.

They are both great, and neither could do what the other has done!

You can't really compare the two since track and swimming are two very different sports. Although it's Usain Bolt's first olympics he has already shown a great deal of talent for it and as he practices more he'll be even better than these olympics.

Michael Phelps is a bit more seasoned. His first olympics was in Sydney when he was only 11 and then 19 in Athens. His eight medals will be hard to challenge but who knows, Usain Bolt could come out.
