Question:

Usb hub port problem?

I am not sure what is causing this but I keep getting a "Power Surge On Hub Port Error" when I try to put pictures from my camera to my computer

This is the message that appears:

When I click on that message this is what pops up:

and it still happens, even if I click "Repair"

Can anyone tell me how to fix it?

  1. I am unable to see the pics, but it's ok.  You have to modify the USB power, it will overload and fry if you try to connect it again and might affect your camera as well.

  2. Its weird that your camera is causing too much power to be sent to the USB port. The only thing I can recommend is to try a different computer, even an internet cafe or some other place.

Seems like your computer and camera are not compatible. And you wouldn't want to keep trying with an error message like that! :)

I don't know if you can put a memory card in your camera, and then insert the memory card into a reader on your computer. Not all computers have card readers though. In-case yours does!
