Use a roll up window blind for projector screen?

has anyone used a window blind (the roll up ones) for a screen for a projector?

if so does it produce a good picture?

  1. i used one for about 6 months the best ones are the total blockout blinds and use it in reverse!

    the picture was fine but after a while the edges of the blind start curling and distorts the picture a little.

    amazon do some cheap electical screens check the ones called (vivo mounts)


  2. It probably will work OK, but probably not much better than a light or white colored wall.  You would want to avoid any surface that is glossy - matte surfaces work better.

  3. It's not a very workable solution since you have to contend with the curled blind.  A better solution is to paint a screen on a wall (from goosystems.com) which gives you the biggest image (up to 120" diagonal) for around $125.00.
