  1. A.) the car will remain at rest if it is fully stop it will accelerate again if you apply an unbalance force.

NOTE: it is not belong to the first Law of motion which is the law of inertia but it is belong in the second law which is law of acceleration because the car is changing in speed, the law of inertia means that f an object is at rest it will remain at rest or if the object is in motion it will remain in motion unless you will exert an unbalance force

B.) it is not belong to the law of inertia but it is belong in the third law of motion which is the law of interaction and the part of this is the momentum.

C.) it is also belong in law of acceleration because it is changing direction

  2. a) On an icy street, the body will continue going a long way further(Inertia of motion).....If the ground is perfectly smooth it will keep on going forever....But even an icy ground is not smooth....

b)Due to Inertia of motion, his body will tend to move forward even though the car has stopped.....His upper body still has the Inertia & his head slams on the steering...

c)Due to Inertia of rest, the coffee in the cup has a tendency to stay at rest....When the plane drops altitude, the coffee spills upwards....This is so because the original position of rest for coffee was 1 meter above....So, it tries to stay where it is, but the cup moves away downwards.....

  3. A) The car will remain moving for along time since there is less frictional force acting on it to make it change its state of motion.

    B) The passenger will tend to continue moving forward at a speed of 50 km/h even after the car's velocity is zero because of his inertia in motion

    C)  the content of the cup will remain 1 m obove because of its inertia at rest.
