Use of the word Gwapo (handsome) in Philippines language/dialect. Is it common to use it, or rarely used!?

in tagalog, they say pogi (for guys)

for girls, its maganda (beautiful)

the visayan dialect is different from tagalog and has vocabulary similar to Spanish.

guapo is handsome or attractive,  

guapo for boys and guapa for girls.

example:

Ka guapa sa imong anak.  (Your daughter is beautiful)

the term is used often.
