Used Books Online (Besides Amazon) ?

Is there any source for used books that holds a candle to Amazon Marketplace?

I get a lot of my used books from Half.com.

Other sources are E-bay, Half.com, and some of the search engines like Yahoo.

I'll have a look at Amazon markeplace.

I've always found the Advanced Book Exchange very good.

(I've just tried it: on my favourite, but rather obscure, author, Amazon offered 55 matches, ABE offered 448)

Just for reading and not for collecting? Half Price books.com has sources of books that might help you, if they are available. Condition is open there? and less defined you get like collector books or ones you want to keep. I am not sure how it works unless the examples like Barnes and Noble and Amazon Books do have those criteria in their selling. It all depends on what you need. I haven't dealt with any on-line, but if you have an account or method of payment you can order and see what works for you. Good luck!
