Used Car /High Milage?

Question

Im about to buy me a used car ...i fell in love with a 2001 ford Taurus it has 134000 miles on it ...thats what throws me off ....... i have bad credit so i have been dealing with the same car lot for my last 4 cars but im just wondering is it too many miles ? and is ford taurus a good car ? im also looking at a dodge neon 2003 with 68000 and a2004 kia optima with 76 000 i just have my heart set on the taurus .....

Your taste in cars sucks.

Go find a cheap Crown Victoria or Grand Marquis.  93-97 model.  25MPGs or better on the highway.

The Taurus is a POS and won;'t get great gas mileage, oth the Neon and Optima use POS Mitsubishi drivetrains.

really depends on the shape its in more than the mile many car can and do run into the 400,000 range so when you buy a used car you much check it out really well if you see any low fluids or any wet spots its best you pass it by

You're gonna have to ask the dealer more questions about the cars. Does the Taurus have any new parts on it? 134000 is more miles than the other two, but are they highway or city miles? It all depends. Did you test drive any of them? It is all up to you, but ask lots of questions.
