Used Trek 450 price?

Question

I found a used trek 450 on CL and have found out little about the bike....made in 1985, this ones blue with hot pink ;-)

I really like her so whats a fair price on it? Its in VGC but all original!

sounds like way too much for a bike that old, see what you can get for a new one for your money and maybe itll make more sense to only spend 100 bucks or less on an old bike that needs lots of work and replacement parts.

That is a sweet bike. It used Shimano 600 components. It went around $400 back in '85. It's light, nimble, and fast. Try to get it for $250 or near that range. Now if the frame is small, like 54cm or less, then dicker it down some more. Smaller frames are harder to sell. Good luck!
