Where can I recycle my used batteries?

    go here, in their search tool, type in your area locale, and they'll give you a bit of places surrounding that you can drop batteries off to. i.e. I can drop them off to a battery (and watch) shop nearby, or circuit city.


  2. Radio Shack once collected them. I don't know if they still do.

  3. Check with earth911.com or your local Household Hazardous waste program.

  4. You can always try contacting LEEP or Changeworks which I believe are on Newhaven Road in Edinburgh. They may have some useful advice.

  6. Home Depot has a rechargable battery recycling bin ... ask someone there or look near the power tool area.
