Used cars, No price?

Question

I just went around used car shopping but I would say 75% of the cars did not have a price on them. I went to at least 10 lots and they were all the same, No Prices!!! Why is this???

Very true.  Salesman are skillful at what they do.  Don't kid yourself.

Simple, they want you to talk to a salesman. Salesmen sell cars.  Signs in the window allow people to drive away.

so the steeler can feel you out and adjust the price to what top dollar he can get out of you.

not many car lots put the price on them anymore,that actually makes people come in and look at the car more and wonder about them,if they did add the price on the windshield of the car some people wouldn't even stop,i got family in the car business and they get more business by not advertising on the car,it makes people ask how much,then the negotiating begins,good luck.
