hi. i was out of car washing liquid, so i figuerd i could use some detergent instead. the car itself looks fine, but the windows are all streaky. could it be "hard water"?

i've tried to Windex the streaks out, but it wont work. i read on Google that you can use white vinegar and water to make hard water stains come out from house hold items, but i dont know if these are hard water stains for sure.

or should i just go to the car wash and get it washed? would that make them go away?

WHAT CAN I DO TO MAKE IT GO AWAY?!?! PLEASE HELP ME!

  1. Go to a gas station and use the squeegie for cleaning the windows. Use lots of paper towels to sop uip the drips. Squeegies are the best way to clean windows.

  2. Go buy some good quality car wash , using detergents like that are a nightmare and they can actually strip the clear coat off of the car, Not good for car paint at all .they are not good for your vehicle. Just wash it with the proper stuff and you should be fine .

  3. Use diluted vinegar on the windows and lots of paper towels or newspaper.Newspaper works great on windows!
