Useful gift for a snyper in the army going to Iraq??

Question

I like a guy in the Army. He's a snyper and is being deployed to Iraq. What would be a useful gift I can send with him??

Well you said "useful".....

soap, deoderant, razors and shaving cream, toothpaste, fresh socks and underwear, icehot coldpacks or hot packs (depending on the season there), granola bars, cookies, books. You could also buy them minutes if it costs them to call home. Sometimes even a good comfy pillow to sleep on.... and sleep on the pillow case for a night with wet hair so it will smell like you ;)

I could go on and on. There are lots of websites with care package ideas also.

I got my husband a awesome camelback that keeps the water cool.

In iraq these things are neccessary. Heck i love these things when i was in. During PT and you need water these things rock!

But when in doubt i totally agree with the Marine wife above sned him neccessities like soap and candy lol.

Get as many DVD's as you can give him.  They're a real treat especially anything new.  Being a sniper is not relevant in your question since you're not going to be like buying him a gun or scope of something.

go to a tactical store with another soldier and buy him the cool gear stuff they have there...it could get expensive though. My husband was in Iraq for 2 years and is gonna go again. He walked in this tactical store and was all excited about the cool gear they have in there because some of the stuff the army issues isnt as great...

other than that he doesnt really NEED anything...except maybe some hot pictures of you and a webcam
