Question:

Useing Rainwater for my fish ?

i am going to use rainwater for my fish because my mates use it and all his fish r doing really well he has had them 5 years but if i am geting it of the roof do the tiles hav carp in them you no bad stuff wot will hurt the fish or will the fillter get it out

  1. you could do that but first you have to let the water filter through for a bit then add some anti-chlorine or other bacteria fighting agent.


  2. For cold water /normal river/pond fish ,it is ok,at least it wont have the acids and other materials in it that farmers use on the land.You must aerate it though or it will stagnate.

  3. you can use the same but do keep next to tank for 30 mins b4 mixing in tank. let the water sttle down than filter it and mix
