I want to know the names of file extension that should be deleted from my PC So that one can get more space on its hard disc ( Example : *.tmp)

yep i know what you need, okay open start menu > then run and type

1. temp

select all files(ctrl+a) and delete all (shift+del)

2. %temp%

select all files(ctrl+a) and delete all (shift+del)

3. prefetch

select all files(ctrl+a) and delete all (shift+del)

4. cleanmgr

select drive (c:\) and check all entries and click on next to delete all temp files.

5. Disable system restore to get more speed(your own risk)

6. increase virtual memory.

7. set tasbar ans startmenu properties to classic menu.

8. Right click on my computer and then click on properties to open ssystem properties. click on advanced tab and then settings under performance. under visual effects select "sdjust for best performance". you can also increse virtual memory from here , go to advanced tab after visual effects and click on change.
