Users accounts on this pc?

Every time I boot up this PC I have to enter a name and password to log in. But, Is there a way to remove this so it logs me straight in as I am the only user of the computer.

  1. click on start..control panel..user accounts....click on the account you want to change..then remove the password etc...cheers


  2. you will have to disable the welcome screen in your user accounts in control panel...........

  4. If this computer's used by only you, it can:

    Go to start --> Settings -->control panel --> Users Account --> click Change The way Users log on and off --> stick Use the Welcome Screen --> Apply Options. --> Restart Windows.

  5. XP Pro:

    After you have removed the password from the account; Click start then run; type in "control userpasswords2" (with out quotes) and remove the check next to the option "Users must enter a user name and password to use this computer."

    Xp home:

    Just simply remove the password from the account.
