Mechanical: Wind a wind-up watch and the springs store energy and release it ever so slowly.  Basically a compressed spring.

Electrical: Battery.  You charge it with potential energy, and release it as you drain the battery in some electrical device.

Bio-chemical: Your body fat.  It's stored, ready for your body to consume and convert to energy when you need it.
