Usian Bolt and Michale Phelps?

why is everybody saying U. Bolt is doping because he blew away the competion,but they didnt question Michale Phelps when he won 8 gold medals, why is that?

Because Bolt won the 100 meters in a way that left everybody with the mouth open. To be good and better than the competition is one thing; to won in that way is another thing.

I firmly believe Bolt is a fabulous athlete.  Like Phelps.

The suspicions are unfortunate. And Bold didn't deserve that.

Probably because Bolt won them more "easily", where in the case of Phelps he had his teammates and more coaching staff to support him.

Jamaica does not have a sanctioning body to test for doping and banned substances. There is a very distinct possibility he and his teammates could have taken banned substances during training prior to the Olympics that would not have been tested for.

Then as the games near and the drugs have done their work, you taper off in time to pass the Olympic drug tests. Also don't forget that the drugs are always ahead of the testers and there are drugs that aren't found. Marion Jones passed her tests....

Also, Michael Phelps is the media darling of the games. They need him to be clean and golden so they can promote him as a hero/role model. If he is ever caught doping or using banned substances his whole legacy is gone and lots of people lose millions of dollars from the phelps cash cow. People want to believe... just look at how biased they might be by giving me thumbs downs : )

The testers will never catch the people with the best chemists and the best substances. Look at the BALCO situation, all those athletes were testing clean for years. Also any smart athlete cycles off the substance for competition so it doesnt matter if they get tested everyday. They use in the off season when the testing is lax at best.

I think they hopped on the fact that Bolt acted a little more boastful than Phelps did when he won his golds.  But who is going to criticize a guy who just won his first gold??  Seriously. Way overboard.

FYI Phelps has been questioned and doubted since the first race. People can't just be happy for these guys give them credit for the hard work, dedication, heart, and sacrifice. These people work for years to get to this point! Oh, and Phelps even submitted himself to more strict intense doping tests and it still isn't enough.

I think its because every1 knows how amazing Phelps is so its expected of him to blow away the completion. but since its not that expected of Bolt  ppl cant just except it. they think there has 2 be a reason other hard work and perseverance

I have heard people question Phelps even though he is doing the super testing where they test him every day. People are wondering about Lighning Bolt because last year he wasn't as dominant and he kind of just appeared a few months ago. Everyone he bothered to learn about swimming knew Phelps would dominate in most of his events.
