Using 12V Adapter for 5V Input?

Is it possible to use a 12V power pack for a 5V stereo system without it blowing up? If not possible what can I do?

    Get a 5 volt power supply.


  2. Not without modifying it or regulating it.  And if you knew how to do that, you wouldn't be asking the question.

  3. Never use it , or it will blow it up..
