Since your spouse is still working...You should inquire about Medicaid spenddown...But I can definitely tell you that back in 2006 many medicaid recipients were kicked off Medicaid for many reasons including hiding funds in various bank accounts and being able to afford employer ins policies...If your husbands employers policy is crappy, you guys don't bring in a lot of money and like you stated the location of the medicaid ortho too far they may except it but I doubt it...Also remember legal separation vs he just moved out the house makes a big difference too...contact me for more one on one help if you need it...
