Um, I am a senior in high school, 17, and start on our varsity team. I was wondering whether or not i should be using 5 lb ankle weights ( for each ankle) to help improve my speed while doing moves such as the scissor kicks and quick cutbacks. Do you think this will work, granted i am only trying to get a little faster with these moves, just enough to entirely fool a defender. If you do not think this will work please state why and what recommendations would you have.
