Question:

Using Airport to Extend WiFi?

Alright. So. I have a router downstairs - by Comcast - that is Wireless. I also have an Airport (not a base station) that I want to use to get a signal upstairs, because currently I can only get internet access downstairs. I tried to set it up, but I'm just not THAT computer savvy.

Main question - if I have no Ethernet cable up there, will I be able to get WiFi without that AND without an Airport Extreme Base Station?

(Sorry if my question is confusing... )

  1. I have set up a few of these you can use it as a extender(you can find the instructions on the disk, just follow the set up) I have also had a few bad airport adapters, and they are not an easy set-up to start with. I mean this sincerely, hire a Pro. it will save a few hairs and cuss words.

I hope this helps Good Luck.
