I just cleaned out my tank. Took it off, got old gas out and put new gas in and cleaned out the lines leading to the fuel pump. Replaced fuel pump and cleaned out the line that heads up to the carb. So basically, the car pumps and operates fine. Now, new gas goes through the line and is operating fully. However, right now, the tank is a 20 gallon tank and there is only 5 gallons of gas in there (just wanna get it started and let it idle - get it back into running condition). So once new gas started coming out instead of the bad gas, hooked it up to the carb and started it up. It starts and works fine. But I bought a can of Seafoam at my local parts store. They said that since I drained the old gas out and put new gas in, it would be a good idea to add 1/3 of the can to the tank, 1/3 to the oil and I don't even know what else. Not a big fan of using chemicals but hey, I love this car so if I should do it and any info, let me know! Gunna be working on this car tomorrow! Answer away!
