Using WIFI with PDA?

I know a PDA such as the Dell Axim can access the internet but can only go to certain websites (or websites that are "transformed" just for the PDA). What I want to know is...is there another kind of PDA that can use WIFI just as if you were on a laptop/computer (not an iphone...)?

I don't have any experience with Dell Axim. But I have used various HP PDAs and IPAQs, Dopod. I think as long as you have WiFi, you should be able to access the Internet or any sites. What you need is a good Internet 'browser' such as Opera or PIE Plus. They give better browsing experience than Pocket IE.
