Using Windows & Macintosh?

I'm just wondering. I have 2 HD's w/ 60gb each. My first drive is already windows xp professional. Is it possible to make my 2nd drive mac? I'd like to try out mac. Would it mess up my system? Thanks guys.. =)

  1. It is possible to run OS X on a dell. Download this torrent: http://thepiratebay.org/torrent/3865071/... Burn the iso (with a special iso burning program). Then when you machine starts up, press F2 quickly. Then select boot from a cd. Exit and save. Then it should work.

    It would be much easier and legalier to install Linux on your machine. I would suggest looking a Debian or Puppy Linux.


  2. Google the term "Hackintosh."

    The fellow above me says "not well"...perhaps he means that it's difficult to install. From what I've heard, it is. I've also heard that if you get it installed correctly it works fine.

  3. You can't run OS X on generic hardware.

    ...well, some people have hacked it, but not well.

    But if you had a Mac, you could easily (and legally) run both OS X and Windows through either BootCamp, Parallels, or VMWare Fusion
